Short-toed Eagle at "Kosy Most", Bialowieska Forest. The site in Narewka Valley is probably still ocupied by a pair, though no proof since 90s.

ROSS'S GOOSE in a flock of White-Fronts in Narew Valley near Wizna. First record for Podlaskie Region, second (?) in Poland. Few days ago recorded in NW part of the country, presumed an individual migrating from Netherlands.

Lesser White-fronted Goose near Suraz, Narew Valley. Rare spring species recorded 1-2 times per season.

Black Brant near Zajki, Narew Valley - rare visitor in the Region. Warm and dry weather, last remains of snowpacks in the Knyszynska Forest with blooming flowers nearby.

Biebrza Marshes still under high water but meadows get green. Flocks of Geese smaller, some Barnacle Geese remaining. First Ospreys recorded in the area as well as first Blackcaps. Baltic Gulls (black ones) stop during their migration on Dojlidy fish ponds near Bialystok - 12 max so far.
