Poland and NORTH
PODLASIE are located almost in the middle of Europe. The NE part of the
country holds important populations of wetland and forest birds and thanks
to less developed industry preserves traditional landscape. Here
we may find both northern and southern species: Tengmalm's Owl or Whooper
Swan as well as Roller and Hoopoe or recently even Bee-eaters. |
North Podlasie (Polnocne Podlasie) is a part of NE Poland
bordered by Bug River from the south and Augustow Forest from North. It has 3
National Parks and 3 Forests as well as biggest Polish marshes - Biebrza
Marshes.
