PHOTOGRAPHY
It was in late 90ties when my photography passion evolved when I bought used Minolta 7000 camera - a good manual/AF SLR with 70-300 Minolta lens. It was really good stuff to take with you to the backpack and start making photos of what you see.
Since December 2003 I started my digital adventure with Canon Digital Rebel and Sigma APO 70-300. This resulted in thousands of photographs made in 2004 and great freedom of photoshooting ("from the hip") of everything I saw. Quality of pictures is usually good enoguh to make prints but also select cropped parts for Internet publishimg. There are countless advantages:
- 300 mm lens works like 480 mm traditional one (1,6x factor)
- easy and fast preview of the picture
- fast editing at home
- no need to buy photographic materials/batteries etc

In 2005 I decided to swithc to "middle class" of Canona cameras with its new EOS 20d which appeared to be better for field- and bird photography.

MY BINOS

Since 1993 I use my Carl Zeiss Jena, made in DDR - Deutsche Democratic Republic. At this time it was worth roughly 100 USD and was really outstanding one compared to common "russian" binos.
